A roofing company does not need a generic drone consultant talking about every possible aerial use case. It needs someone who understands the roofing work well enough to build the process around it and teach the company's leaders how to run it.
I set the capture standards, help your leaders teach the process, and take the calls when the normal process breaks. GSI handles the processing and hosting behind the program.
Drone won't take off? Call me. Something in the model doesn't make sense? Call me. The goal is not to make every decision for your crew. It is to help them get better until they barely need me.
What support usually includes
The support layer changes with the company, but the core is usually capture standards, pilot orientation, field questions, processing, deliverable review, and a monthly check-in so the program keeps improving.

Know what the job calls for
The goal is not for your team to call me before every flight. I teach them how to decide what the job needs so the right choice becomes part of their normal process.
Use a 3D model and ortho when the team needs to estimate from the roof or return to it later. Fly manually and use the zoom lens when you need a closer look at a specific area. When a quick view of the full scope is enough, a short video orbit may make more sense than a full model.
Once your people understand those choices, they can lead the work themselves. I am still there for the exceptions, but I should not stand between your team and every decision.
The test is whether your team can repeat it
A drone program is working when the field team knows what to capture, the office knows where to find it, and the people using it do not have to rebuild the job from a folder of disconnected files.
If the process still depends on one pilot remembering where everything is and explaining it every time, you have a drone and a folder—not a program.
- Can another pilot follow the same capture process?
- Can an estimator open the model or ortho and start working?
- Can service find the previous roof visits without hunting through folders?
- Can a leader teach the next person how the process works?
